Eight colors that "match" the Cadeira Portuguesa with nature
After several years working with Adico, Beatriz Tadeia, architect and interior designer, has no doubt about the Swiss market's passion for the famous Cadeira Portuguesa (#5008).
Inspired by this success and by an aesthetic of breathtaking landscapes, majestic mountains, crystal-clear lakes and charming cities, Beatriz Tadeia has created a color palette that captures the essence of nature and adds a sense of peacefulness, elegance and sophistication to atmospheres - The Terra Collection.
Adico's great ambassador to the world, the Cadeira Portuguesa, now appears in a new color palette that is classic, timeless and infinitely combinable. The exclusive colors of The Terra Collection offer a selection of sophisticated and versatile tones that reflect the beauty and harmony of nature, with the trends of the moment as a reference.
The eight colors initially designed for the Cadeira Portuguesa have been extended to Table #5028 and the cushion that can be used with the Chair.
Adico has now integrated this combination into its global offer, which extends to more than 90 products, including the Metallic Line, the Lounge segment and the Classics collection.
Beatriz Tadeia
Beatriz Tadeia studied architecture at the Universidade Lusíada do Porto between 1994 and 2000. In 2003 she moved to Bern, Switzerland, where she began her professional career.
In 2013, she dedicated her career to buying and selling vintage furniture, especially Danish furniture, and the following year she opened her own studio - Viking Moderna - with a focus on interior design. It was also in this year that she began working with Adico and is now the brand's official representative for the Swiss market.
Her references and imagination about Adico go back to her childhood, to her grandfather's café where she grew up and where the Cadeira Portuguesa was the brand image. Living in Switzerland, and creating her own studio, it made perfect sense to express her origins through the Cadeira Portuguesa, an icon of national design.
