The renowned architect is known for integrating natural materials and traditional Japanese techniques into his projects, promoting architecture in harmony with the environment and respect for nature. Among his most emblematic works are the Japan National Stadium, built for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the Nezu Museum (Tokyo), the Victoria & Albert Museum (Dundee), the Albert Kahn Museum (Paris), the Odunpazarı Modern Museum (Eskişehir, Turkey), the Japan House cultural center in São Paulo, the Louis Vuitton headquarters in Japan, among others.

His innovative and sensitive approach has consolidated his position as one of the most influential figures in contemporary architecture.
