During 2021 Adico avoided the emission of 15.38 tCO2 into the atmosphere, which is equivalent to 154 thousand less car kilometers traveled.
This number, which is part of the declaration "Menos Pegada Mais Futuro", awarded by Sociedade Ponto Verde, was calculated based on the annual amount of packaging placed on the market by Adico and the overall performance of the waste management system.
In addition to the adoption of measures aimed at reducing its carbon footprint, Adico is also implementing certification by the ISO 14001:2015 environmental management system, whose objective is to support organizations in improving their environmental performance through the efficient use of resources and waste reduction.
