ADICO is adding the AÇO Line to its Outdoor Collection, taking over production and sales of the collection designed by Portuguese designer Gonçalo Prudêncio.

This strategic partnership puts the AÇO Line in an industrial and international context, ensuring its long-term continuity and projection.

The AÇO Line is a collection of metal furniture consisting of tables, chairs, benches, and long benches, designed in sheet metal and steel tubing. Developed for use in outdoor spaces and intensive use contexts, it is distinguished by a refined language that balances visual lightness and structural robustness.

The project originated in Gonçalo Prudêncio's authorial journey, within the scope of the Ghome brand, and has established itself over the years through its conceptual clarity, formal coherence, and commitment to values such as sustainability, productive ethics, and the appreciation of design created in Portugal. This journey has culminated in consistent recognition from the public and critics, both nationally and internationally.

This collaboration also represents a step forward in ADICO's strategy of working side by side with national creators, taking Portuguese design further, with the strength and precision of its industrial production.

We believe that ADICO's future is built in dialogue with design. The partnership with Gonçalo Prudêncio is a reaffirmation of that mission.

The AÇO line offers a new vision of metal furniture: robust and elegant pieces, designed to last and fit into different contexts, from the home to public spaces, indoors and outdoors.

Entirely produced at the ADICO factory, this line is part of the Outdoor collection. Each product reflects a common commitment: to design durable products, manufactured locally and with reduced environmental impact.

The collection was distinguished by Monocle magazine as “Most Playful Design”, ranking among the Top 50 Designs of 2025, and is already present in landmark projects in Portugal, such as the recently inaugurated Music Museum in Mafra.
