Adico demonstrates its commitment to environmental sustainability by installing over a hundred photovoltaic panels at its production facility located in Avanca.

This project marks a significant step towards adopting ecologically responsible practices, aiming to accelerate its energy transition towards achieving carbon neutrality.

In addition to the installation of photovoltaic panels, Adico will also replace the current lighting system with a more energy-efficient LED lighting system, reducing energy consumption and improving the company's lighting comfort.

The 102 photovoltaic panels will generate clean and renewable electricity, significantly reducing Adico's carbon footprint and the impact of its activities on the planet.

With the adoption of these energy-efficient measures, Adico anticipates an average reduction of at least 30% in direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions.

After achieving certification for its Environmental Management System by ISO 14001 – an international standard that recognizes companies demonstrating a continuous commitment to improving their environmental performance – Adico continues to reaffirm its commitment to sustainability by embracing clean energy sources to power its operations.

These investments are supported by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) and the European Union's NextGeneration EU funds. The project was developed under the Industry Decarbonization Support program.
