Inspired by the iconic Portuguese Chair, the Gio Chair – Cadeira Gio in Portuguese - is the result of a partnership between Adico and the portuguese stylist Gio Rodrigues. With classic and timeless lines, but with a touch of innovation that gives it a sophisticated and elegant design, underlined by the choice of white and gold colors, the new chair was specially thought for interior spaces.
With a clean and stylized design and exceptional comfort, the Cadeira Gio combines the knowledge and experience of a century-old company, leader in its sector of activity, with the vision and unique aesthetics of Gio Rodrigues, which make him a prominent figure in the national fashion scene.
The structure of the new Cadeira Gio is made entirely of steel, Adico's preferred raw material, with a golden epoxy paint finish. The back and the seat are upholstered in refined white ecoskin. The attention to detail and the choice of high quality materials resulted in an elegant and functional piece of furniture, with fluid lines, sophisticated aesthetics and ergonomic design.
Fashion and Gio Rodrigues now join the portfolio of the oldest metal furniture company in Portugal, and one of the oldest in Europe, which has built an undeniable legacy based on a unique and timeless design that has been one of the critical factors for its success and longevity.
